16.06.11 A new web based system for TADVIC developed using PHP/MySql. TADVIC provides practical assistance to people with disabilities, by building or modifying equipment that meets their specific needs, when no commercial solution exists. This project entails the development of a database and process management application that will enable TADVIC to capture and manipulate data for the purpose of:

  • Tracking and maintaining project information, from both central and remote locations
  • Centralising the relevant personal and contact information of all people or organisations that have an association with TADVIC, ie. clients, volunteers, staff, funding agents, subscribers, etc
  • Generating distribution and renewal lists for regular mailouts and publications

28.09.10 We are assisting Pollard Institute with enhancement of their Access based Assessment system. A number of new reports and forms are being developed to improve assignment tracking.

1.02.10 Swinbourne Uni are just about to release a new commercial package. Over some years E-Sight together with Dr. John Lourens developed a unique set of accounting simulations based on the ICAL (Intelligent computer assisted learning) approach. These have been widely used and tested by students. Key features include:

  • users can develop complex practical skills
  • users can customise terminology to suit the textbook they are using
  • users can customise case study problems to suit the syllabus they are studying
  • skills development is supported by a comprehensive ‘Help’ file that outlines relevant theory
  • users can request assessment, hints on where they went wrong, correct answers and/or explanations of correct solutions
  • users can control the level of feedback given.

2.10.09 Graphic design development for Top Range Clearance new website. This is an e-commerce clearance shop selling top European brands.

25.06.09 A new web development project for a job board. The website SMStheJOB will introduce the new way to receive and apply for jobs in real-time using sms. This web to sms system has its advantages over traditional web only based Job boards in that it allows Jobseekers an ability to attract jobs to them rather than having to go in search for them as is the case with existing web only based listings. It also allows Advertisers to send their ads directly to their target audiences mobile phones instead of just listing their adds in a sea of others and then hoping their ads will be seen.

15.06.09 We'll be helping out Unicon Software with the developement of Access database for one of the government water saving projects.
